Lao Cement Co. use new and advanced dry process
rotary kiln with 5 stage preheater and precalciner.
The local coal - anthracite is used for clinker
burning and raw material drying.
The major product is “Kating Thong brand” Portland
cement clinker and “Kating Thong brand” high grade
Portland cement, according to international cement
standard and Chinese standard (GB), the common
cement we are producing mainly are Portland cement
and mixed cement. We have Type I based on ASTM
C-150, ISO 9001:2008 and P32.5 based on GB175-1999
test standard.

Portland Cement Type I ( Red ) is suitable
for construction work, concrete work
requiring high compressive strength, for
general concrete work such as in reinforced
concrete building and for construction of
bridges, roads, airport, dams and for
various types of priestesses concrete
products. |

Mixed Cement ( Green ) possessing slight
elasticity is suitable for construction
work, concrete work requiring low
compressive strength, especially for masonry
work. |
